This painting on canvas depicts a nude figure with a fruit, integrated into an imaginary space. The composition is rendered in vibrant orange, matte ochre, green, and black. The paint is applied in a fluid manner—often heavily diluted—necessitating that the work be painted while lying flat on the ground. The creative process is characterized by a playful approach and the layering of paint to create varied textures. A vague concept takes shape during the work process through the application of flowing lines and distinct planes onto the canvas. The image is composed of both organic and geometric elements.
Geometric abstraction and the human figure interact, with the pictorial structure centered entirely on the nude and the fruit. The combination of a nude and a fruit alludes to the art-historical tradition of fertility allegories. The space surrounding the figure is deliberately left open and open to association. The imaginary space—the universe in which the figure is embedded—can be multifaceted, possessing both physical and imaginary qualities. The interplay between figure and space raises questions: What does a person need in their universe? What defines it? And what should it be like to foster a life in harmony?

"From a web of lines, planes, shapes, and structures—balanced by matte and luminous colors—I create landscapes, flora and fauna, and motifs drawn from the animate and inanimate natural world. Through a dynamic rhythm and the use of flowing colors, painterly, ornamental, and expressive elements transform into allegories of life. From the very beginning, my artistic work has expressed a deep connection to nature, born of curiosity and a constant interest in observing the natural world—observations that I then translate into visual art. My themes are diverse, and I often explore them through series—ranging from small to large formats—using printmaking, drawing, and painting on paper, canvas, or wood. I am fascinated by the role of humanity within nature and by its regenerative, cyclical nature, just as I am captivated by the lyrical beauty of its visual appearance. Through the layering of paint and eruptive, expressive gestures, I distill my compositions down to the utmost simplicity and poignancy—creating hymns to nature and life."
