  • My theme in this painting is space and landscape and time. In an external reality that would correspond to this picture, there would be parallel arable furrows, indicated paths.
  • Their parallel courses would carry the perspective into the picture. Paths and furrows would be traces left by movements in space, by travellers or heavy machinery.
  • They would bear witness to processes in time that have traversed space.
  • The colour in these landscapes serves above all as a deeply emotional mood carrier. Silver pigments, radiant yellow, warming red and, again and again, white.

Studied painting at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee, also art education at the Humboldt University.
Since 1999 continuous exhibitions. Study visits with subsequent exhibitions in France, Italy and Spain.
Since 2015 senior lecturer at the youth art school Atrium in Berlin.
