The way

Frochaux, Ondine

  • This work is about the path between life and death. Everything belongs together in a way.
  • Here a healer walks on a path full of medicinal products of all kinds. She runs without holding onto anything. Simply dressed, she doesn't seem to want to prove anything to anyone.
  • It could be seen as an allegory for "medicine" or "science". Skulls and bones can be seen in the foreground. Despite all attempts at medicine, death is inevitable. Body, life and death are a reality.
  • We can rely on this, medicine cannot do anything about it. The woman walks by as if she accepts this fact, she tries not to deny it. (I created this work spontaneously, inspired by our current fight against Covid 19.)
