Gabriele Sehn (born 1957 in Eppelborn) studied architecture in Mainz and later fine arts at the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main. She further developed her sculptural work under the guidance of Professor Eberhard Linke. Her pieces have been exhibited in numerous shows associated with art awards (including those of the B. & G. Rosenheim Foundation, the Cultural Foundation of Sparkasse Karlsruhe, and the Eremitage Bayreuth). She has also received several grants and residencies—in southern Spain, at the Kunst-Eremitage Rietzer Berg, and most recently, the Uwe Lüders Art Grant in Lüneburg.
Using ink and acrylic on paper or canvas, Gabriele Sehn creates visual worlds that celebrate the diversity of life while simultaneously raising questions about the future of natural habitats. Her works hover between abstraction and association, inviting the viewer to discover ever-changing forms, connections, and narratives.
