Birgit Golitz (* 1965 Rheurdt, Germany) has dealt intensively with watercolor and acrylic painting since 1998 and learned the professional use of color in the art school of painter and art teacher Jenny Schäfer. And she learned the expression and the freedom to express herself with paint and brushes and to live with it through the artist Hubert Engels, in the cultural barn in Sevelen.

Already in the year 2000, Mrs. Golitz participates in various exhibitions in Oermten, Sevelen and Kevelaer; 2008 and 2010 followed by own vernissages, 'Heimspiel I and II', at the Speehof in Oermten. Since 2014, the painter has been a member of the Kulturverbund Niederrhein and most recently took part in the art festival 'Klein Mont Martre' in August this year.

Mrs. Golitz herself has been interested in art since childhood: "Painting, especially mood painting, has been a passion since childhood, and particularly large screen formats fascinate me and make me pick up a brush."
