Spring Belief 1

Arvani, Farzane

  • My subject as a painter is flowers and spaces.
  • I paint the flowers beautifully and strongly. They are much bigger on my canvas than they really are.
  • By changing the format, they are signaling that they want to grow in order to counterbalance the misery and ugliness of the world through their strength and beauty.
  • The spaces I represent in my pictures are also unthinkable without symbolic subtext.
  • They do not include but open up to ever new spaces and horizons. In this way, they make it clear that there is hope in every situation and a way out.
