This is one of a continuous series of lithographic works by Jadranka Njegovan, which she started before 2000.
Searching for the essence of the image, she automatically came up with elements such as line, tone, repetition, rhythm and structure. The number of elements is reduced to a minimum in her work, so that purity is dominant.
Studies of line and tone, hard contrast between black ink and bright white paper and soft tonal variations play an important role in the image, in such a way that the absence of color is obvious.
