Where the outside world comes together with my inner world, ideas and shapes arise which are the starting point for my visual works. The idea or form is the starting point for the creation and growth of a painting, work on paper or work on MDF. During the working process something becomes visible of my inner world and at the same time a visual reality occurs on the canvas, paper or MDF. This visual reality requires cooperation between what comes to mind in me and what occurs in the work in progress. There the inner and outer world come together again.

In my visual expressions I search for light, space and clarity. There is a desire for beauty, calm serenity. Being (briefly) between heaven and earth.
