Training as a portrait photographer in Potsdam, then studying communication design at the Burg Giebichentein University of Art. Freelance in Halle since 2013. My central theme is portrait, my favorite motifs are people. I try to look inside, to recognize, to dissect one could say and to make the inside visible. For this I use the very diverse analogue photographic possibilities. Time, silence, melancholy play an important role both in content and in the act of taking photographs. This brings me very close to my motives. Furthermore, I work intensively with artists from other artistic areas on joint projects.
Artificial landscapes surround us, continuously in our cultural landscape. The more natural they are to be designed, the more unreal they appear. That only removes us even further from our true origin in carefree nature. This motif is also available in other sizes:50x75 cm 250 euros
From the serie: Movement The double portrait is part of a series of multiple exposures on the subject of movement. Sometimes more, sometimes less contoured, overlapping, playful, I try to capture movement in a picture. This motif is also available in other sizes:40x56.5 cm 190 euros
The still life as another form of portrait. Different materials are related here, a sheet from the street and a sheet of copper from the junkyard - both very important places of a city. Together they develop their own poetry. This motif is also available in other sizes:40x55 cm 190 euros
Wearing a mask, being concealed, masked, hidden. What identities will develop from this? I look at this from the outside and what results from it. Black and white analog medium format
The still life as another form of portrait. Fruit still lifes are particularly symbolic. So also in this. The sexy cut pear in the middle of other fruits stands for fruit and fertility alike. This motif is also available in other sizes:40x60 cm 190 euro
